Affordable, no electrical wall sconces

When we rearranged our living room I knew I wanted sconces on our main wall on either side of the fireplace. We have ZERO electrical on this wall so even if we could drum up an outlet or two, wiring for sconces would be even more work & money. The obvious choice was sconces with puck lights in them. We actually have these in our home office. The version in our study requires you to actually screw the bulbs into another lamp from time to time to charge them. This is alright but they don't stay charged super long so I wanted a different option for the living room since we'd be turning them on frequently. I got the idea of taper candle sconces & knew I had to make it work! Minimal, chic, yet a little elevation for our big blank wall.

There are quite a few taper candle sconces out there but I was THRILLED when I found this set of 2 at Kirklands for $20.00. I did get lucky & get them on sale but there are so many affordable options out there!

Okay, the best part! The candles we have in our sconces are from Amazon and literally only $13.00 for a two pack. They're run by triple A batteries which are easy to load up on & they also come with a remote. Battery operated has been much more practical than a chargable light. I went with the Ivory Drip because of how realistic they look & my favorite setting is "flicker" so they look like REAL life candles on our walls. Sunset is our new favorite time of the day when we get to turn these babies on & enjoy the warmth they bring to our space. We pulled off this entire look for $35.00 too.
